If you’d asked me a few years ago what I thought a career as a writer would look like, I would have painted a picture of a perfect day: raiding flea markets for old treasures before sitting in a sun-dappled piazza, pensively putting thoughts to paper with one hand and an afternoon Aperol in the other. But these days, as a copywriter for innovative yet intentional lifestyle brands, my reality looks a bit different.

You’re more likely to find me at the kitchen table, balancing snack requests, school runs, and copious amounts of coffee, while writing website copy and online content that’s built to connect. Yet, at its core, the essence remains the same. Whether I’m wandering through Mediterranean markets (admittedly, mostly in my head these days) or navigating everyday moments, I’ve learned that beauty lies in simplicity and connection.​​

I’m still drawn to the same things - handwritten notes, lost-then-found postcards, the tangible emotion of a photograph, the way light falls on a well-designed interior or catches the irresistible texture of a letterpress stationery suite - these small details reflect the thoughtful curation that’s at the heart of lifestyle brands. To me, words are no different - they hold the power to transform, to connect and to turn a beautifully designed product or experience into something unforgettable.
